When you think of zebras, you don’t automatically think of Oklahoma, but Woolaroc Ranch, Museum and Wildlife Preserve has a mom, papa and baby zebra! Unlike the zebra birth, deer and cattle have had their little ones too. It’s a great time to visit Woolaroc near Pawhuska.

You will see all the great animals on your way into the ranch. The 2-mile drive will take you past the buffalo, elk, deer and longhorn cattle pastures. There are also other exotic animals and birds including a water buffalo.
Woolaroc Museum houses one of the best western art and artifact collections and exhibits in the state. The ranch also has a great nature trail and 20 acres of gardens including perennials, annuals, herbs and a butterfly garden.
The ranch and museum is kid-friendly. Kids Fest is June 25 and 26 at Woolaroc. The event includes crafts, games, entertainment and re-enactors. There is also an animal barn and children’s playground.
Take the whole family! Visit https://woolaroc.org/home to learn about Frank Phillips and the museum and wildlife preserve that he envisioned, built and is still in existence today.
