A trip to the farmers market is fun for the whole family.
This is not an April Fools’ joke, it really is time for farmers markets! The Stillwater Farmers Market is opening for the season Saturday, April 2. The market is located at Strickland Park, 309 N. Main Street in Stillwater and will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A unique thing about the Stillwater Farms Market is the produce is grown in Payne County or surrounding counties so patrons support local growers and get fresh produce. Throughout the season, the market will offer fresh vegetables and fruits, meat and eggs, ready-to-eat foods and baked items, honey, bedding plants, herbs and flowers.
The market will be open Wednesdays and Saturdays through October from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. For more information, visit www.stillwaterfarmersmarket.com.
