Clauren Ridge Vineyard and Winery is a new winery in Edmond. The winery offers Syrah, Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, as well as blended wines with distinction. Come for a visit and try them in our “Rustic-Italian” tasting room over-looking the large crushing and fermentation area where wine is created!! We also feature an adjoining vineyard just outside the winery that is perfect for weddings or a stroll through the vines.
Clauren Ridge boasts Oklahoma’s exclusive wine cave, typically seen in the grape-growing regions of California and Europe. Definitely unlike anything else in the state!! This enchanting cave has two large rooms and is primarily used for aging wine in oak barrels, gourmet wine tasting dinners, wedding receptions, and corporate events. These caves naturally provide for the temperature and humidity controls necessary for aging wine.
Wine Cave Tasting Dinners are part of the fun at Clauren Ridge. Here is the February schedule for your perusal. This could be a great Valentine’s Day treat!
Timetable for all Dinners:
5:30 - Social Hour for arrival of guests in the Tasting Room with fancy appetizers and a glass of our newest wine.
6:00 - Tour of the Fermentation Room with discussion of winemaking procedures and tasting of young wine “straight from the barrel”.
6:30 - Seating in the “Dining Cave” for the remainder of the Tasting Dinner.

Ah, Wednesdays. It’s either the up-hill-climb for some people or the slide into the weekend. Regardless of which type you are, you might find Wednesdays more bearable with a visit to a local winery. Several of our wineries across the state offer specials for Wednesdays.
The Rusty Nail Winery, in Sulphur, offers free wine and cheese tastings each Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. during “Wine Down Wednesdays.”
Wine and Wednesdays both start with ‘W’ so I guess they go together! Click here to see a full list of Oklahoma’s wineries.
